Orthodontic Treatment for Children and Teenagers

Orthodontics is the use of braces to straighten teeth. Making teeth straight makes them look nicer, and gives our patients confidence when smiling. Orthodontic treatment can make teeth healthier as well.

Cleveland Orthodontics has been established for over fifteen years and is located in Middlesbrough, close to Centre Square and the Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art (mima).

Our team provides treatment to children, teenagers and adults from across the North East region. We provide metal braces with colours, white braces and Damon low friction braces.

NHS Treatment

We are committed to providing NHS treatment for children and teenagers and are constantly working towards improving a service that is designed with patients at the centre.

We provide metal fixed braces with colours and “invisible” retainers for our NHS patients.

Your orthodontist will let you know whether you qualify for NHS orthodontic treatment, and you can click below to find out how this decision is made.

Alternatives to NHS Treatment

If you do not qualify for NHS treatment or you would rather have a different sort of brace e.g. white braces or Damon braces, there are a number of options which are outlined below.

How can I arrange my first visit?

Ask your dentist to make a referral to us or contact us for any further advice. We aim to see all new patients within four weeks of referral.
