Treatment Costs

NHS Treatment

If you qualify for NHS treatment, and you are exempt from NHS charges, your orthodontic treatment is free. All children under the age of 18 are exempt from NHS charges.

However you will have to pay for any oral health products that you may wish to purchase and for replacement retainers or removable braces in the event of loss or breakage.

If you qualify for NHS treatment but you are NOT exempt from NHS charges, you will have to pay an NHS band 1 charge for your initial consultation and a band 3 charge for your treatment.

To find out whether you are exempt from charges and what the band 1 and 3 charges are please click below.
